Vulkan and legacy shaders are most important. I know videos are usually nicer, but just trust me and read the official RPCS3 instructionsĪs for the best settings for NCAA 14 specifically, set your renderer to Vulkan, set vblank to 120 hz, set resolution scale to whatever you want (150% for 1080p, 300% for 4K, or anything in between), and set shaders to legacy Any video tutorial is going to be dated or have misinformation. Though I’m sure a quick google search would do the trick for youĪs for setup, just read the RPCS3 QuickStart guide.

That being said, I don’t think anyone here can link you to a download of the game as it could get this sub in trouble with Reddit’s copyright stance.

It’s not like emulating a Nintendo 64, you’re emulating an entire powerful PS3 system The emulator requires a beefy CPU, which laptops often avoid because of power draw and thermal limits (even with a top of the line $3000 gaming laptop you will probably still have audio stuttering). Currently, the defined filetypes are : AST, APT, RSF, XML, comp (compressed), GD, p3R and DDS. If a given filetype is undefined it will be referred to as 'DAT' or data. While the files are loading, they are decompressed and the type of file is defined. NCAA 14 is currently the most demanding “playable” game on RPCS3. Loads in an AST file compatible with the ps3 version of Ncaa 2014. I hope this helped someone out as it has taken me multiple hours to troubleshoot.Your laptop probably won’t run the game perfectly I have read online that EA checks that your teambuilder teams are accessible to you at that very moment meaning that you are connected to the servers so don't waste your time trying to finesse the system. Another note to the consumer is that the teambuilder section of the game and custom roster part is not going to be accessible due to the fact that you have to be signed in to sony or EA for them to be downloadable. That is unless you want to simulate through some seasons on dynasty. If any dev reads this, keep up the good work! If you're just an average joe like me looking to build the super team you've always wanted but don't want to drop $100 on a sued console, the game is unplayable. I'm not sure if the lag is due to my processor or GPU i5-7600k / GTX 1060, but there is something going on that shouldn't be happening (The awful gameplay even though my framerate reads 50). The simulation features all work just fine so i have been having a bit of fun using those but the actual "Football" part of the game is unplayable. Overall the game seems to be pretty close to working but the constant lag in the games makes it not thinkable to play.

The game never actually crashes, but the screen will turn white after i press the windows button on my computer. Drag and drop your log file into the issue. On Windows it will be near the executable. Every now and then the game will freeze and either take a bit to start working again or crash. Completely close RPCS3, or move to the next step in case it has crashed. The framerate at the top of my monitor always reads in the high 50s which confuses me. If I have the "Write Color Buffers" feature on, i can actually start a play in a game but the frame count is so low, it might be below. With open GL it gives you a fatal error which i do not have anymore. Mine is running on vulkan which is the only way it will load into a game. You can now get into the games on the DVD version of the game.
